The Abundance Workout is simple:
Step 1: Think of something you’re already grateful for and score your feeling of gratitude out of 100. As an example, “I am grateful for my health. I feel about a 65 out of 100.” *Be honest! Don’t judge yourself with how you feel.*
Step 2: Close your eyes and ask yourself this question, “How could I increase this feeling slightly to 75 out of 100?” Be patient and allow yourself to feel the answer emerge from within. Your answer may involve shifting your focus, taking a small action or allowing an emotion to flow through you. Whatever answer you receive will show you the next step to increase your appreciation and therefore your abundance capacity.
Step 3: Take a breath and settle into this new level of appreciation. Learn from it. See the world around you now from this perspective. Then when you’re ready take another step, “What would it take to increase my gratitude another 10 or 20 points?”
Bonus: If you’ve now reached level 100 with your abundance feelings, Congratulations! See if you can expand just a little bit beyond that. “What would it take to feel another 10 points of appreciation?”
The goal is to use your mind to direct your attention into the appreciation state so you can consciously and authentically expand your heart’s capacity for abundance.
