Going into the first week of The Artist’s Way I was excited to see where the journey would lead and the rewards to my poetic creativity that I would reap. I now know that was a very narrow scope and goal. My mind has expanded to the rich reward of personal growth and wholeness. I see it clearly, the possibilities of change through reflection and nurturing. I am befriending myself. Learning that creativity does not have to be public to heal, it simply has to be honest and alive. To discover me is to awaken God given creativity. Next chapter….Imagine the possibilities, the journey continues. Thank you, Graham, and fellow travelers.

Prayer I wrote this morning in my morning pages. I have NEVER written anything before it just came flowing out:

April 26 took your weathered hands,

still stained with earth and honest work.

Grease and dust were your quiet pride -

and love grew wherever you stood.

You are missed like rain on dry fields,

and loved beyond every harvest.

Please honest opinions!!!

Your poem is very touching and provides a description of a loving & hard working man who is deeply missed. I'm very sorry for your lost. Blessings.

Graham, I owe you sooo much! I lost my husband three years ago. Needless to say I was in a deep dark hole! Following you and completing this challenge has opened my heart and has removed that thick black hole started to lighten up and I owe it to you!! I was a bitter person and you have helped me through this. You have made me stronger and outside my comfort zone!!! Bless your heart. You have no idea what progress I have made since the beginning of this journey.

I was happy to see the replay this morning - such great sharing and insights. It's a beautiful thing to see the impact of The Artist's Way on so many. The morning pages have come to be a great tool for me and apparently something is clearing because my dream life has become incredibly active. The combination of the pages, the solo dates, the tasks and the discussions are doing great things deep down in me. The desire to be creative in completely different ways is emerging. Can't wait to see where it all takes me next!

Thanks Graham as usual for your insight to our "Artist's Way" tasks, discovery and development. For those who may be struggling I would like to give some advice. I recently read a story of Chuck Norris's life and his musings. He said that aerodynamically a bumble bee should never be able to fly because his body is too big for his wings. But nobody ever told him that so he flies. That is the story of setting goals. Nothing is impossible unless you believe that it is. Wise words. 👍❤️
