Every night when I get settled in bed, I offer a prayer of gratitude for everyone who has that day supported me, helped me, or inspired me. That strengthens my gratitude muscle as each day, I am reminded of God's gifts to me. It also helps me bring to mind what opportunities I will have the next day to offer help or support to others. Needless to less, Graham, you are very often on my list of those who inspire me. Thank you!

When I feel the strongest sense of gratitude is when I take the time to connect to God and thank him for the blessings AND the hard things that teach me. I try to do that in the moment, but like Patty, it's the last thing I do at the end of the day when I offer up all the things I'm grateful for and for what will happen tomorrow. I have been practicing the abundance muscle growth plan you have suggested and ask myself how I can increase my feeling of gratitude in any given situation. Remembering to be grateful often changes my perspective about people and situations. Thanks for the "gratitude gym" visual!

I find gratitude to be a deep feeling of connection to my present moment. It guides me during challenges or decisions to pause and focus on the positive not the negative. What will life look like on the other side, not what will I lose but what will I gain, what can I learn, how can I grow.. I can see expanding my gratitude muscle by concentrating on the goodness in my life, looking for sunshine not clouds and focusing my thoughts, actions, plans and prayers on looking at challenges as opportunities not burdens. Thank you, Graham, for another interesting live chat and the reminder of the importance of our gratitude muscle. Continued blessings in 2026.

Thank you, Graham! After listening to you, it is clear to me that gratitude begins at home. I am deeply grateful to my family for all their love and support. They remind me that I am not walking alone and that true love is built on simple things, with presence, patience, and care.

Thank you Graham for posting the replay so quickly so I was able to do the gratitude meditation again after a hard day at work.

During the meditation, I felt deep gratitude for my husband and loved ones, especially for my husband’s unwavering presence throughout my life and praying that God will keep him healthy and strong. I also felt grateful for the work I’m called to do, the people I serve alongside, and for God’s steady guidance through difficult seasons.

The insight that came was that gratitude grows when I slow down and recognise God’s grace already surrounding me. Grateful also to you for sharing this , enjoyed finding my gratitude muscle. Exercises like this is a very interesting addition to your lives. 🙏

I also feel gratitude while floating in my pool at night under a star filled inky sky. But also while in the mountains while hiking. After lunch I step aside to find a flat slab to lay down, close my eyes, and feel the sun's warmth. The gratitude expands in that stillness. I believe using all five senses to feel gratitude will increase my gratitude muscles, too. See it, feel it, hear it, taste it and smell it! Thank you for another interesting Live!

Graham, The timing of this Live is perfect for me as I move forward with my decision to let go of the ministry I have been involved in for most of my adult life. When I was guided through your beautiful mediation I felt added affirmation of this big change in my life. My experience of gratitude was a 8, limited only by some sense of loss. Throughout the meditation, the song Come To Me echoed in my mind and heart. It was composed by a Benedictine monk, who are known for their contemplative and meditative life.

Feeling peace, affirmation I am following God's guidance, confidence that all is well on this new path forward. I also felt a sense that I am creating more opportunities for others to continue to grow into this beautiful ministry accompanying adults seeking Baptism. The feeling is a contented sigh of the lifting burden in moving forward with confidence and gratitude. Indeed, The Time Has Come. So grateful 🙏🕯🙏

I'm with Juli...floating in my gratitude pool. As a comrade Mermaid I envision gratitude best when I feel the water cover my skin, I can look up at the sky and feel a part of this massive universe in my own way. I feel connected...weighless and vulnerable, but in a good way...giving myself up to God's will...which will always lead me to where I need to go. I'm grateful to be so connected to my divine source. ❤️🙏

I feel such a rush when I count my blessings for the wonderful life I have even though my Graham has been gone 10 years Jan. 8th. In this dimension I feel a strong guidance by a power force unseen but certainly felt. May I have this gift as long as I live. Gratitude gives comfort to my soul in so many ways. Blessings! 🙏❤️

My strongest feelings of gratitude come when I spend time in nature, especially at sunrise, taking in the glow of a new day, giving thanks for gift of another day, preparing myself to notice and express gratitude for blessings yet to come. Being out in nature, connecting with God, listening for his guidance, being present in the moments in my life are ways that help me to slow down, recognize and appreciate the blessings in my life, even the everyday things that we often take for granted. I was grateful for the meditation as it helped me release the anxious feeling that had been with me all day, fully appreciate the friendships in my life and fill my heart with gratitude for friends. My insight on how to expand/strength my gratitude muscle was to express how grateful I am for friends, being present in moments, notice the blessings in my life and stop to say thank you God for the small things. At the end of each day, I say a prayer of gratitude for the day, give my worries/cares of the day to God and a night of restful sleep. My gratitude to you for this inspiring live, especially the meditation..continued blessings!

Thank you Graham for this gratitude meditation. After months of moving through my loss and grief process, I find the grief is becoming softer and not as raw. Because of that, I am able to socialize more. I am so grateful for God’s presence and for old and new friends who have inspired me and supported me through this period. With this meditation, my heart actually felt fuller, less brokenness.
