You were talking about taking that first step, well to share my first step, I was kind of pushed into it. I shared one of my poems with my pastor and his wife. The following Sunday at church, he put me on the spot and said I had a poem to read. You can image I turned several shades of red. I've always been afraid to speak in public. God got me through it, many of the congregation was in tears. Thank you for everything you have said and done to encourage us to step out of our heads
appreciated what you shared during the live. Your words truly resonated with me , such a meaningful insight, it really gave me something to reflect on. I appreciate your wisdom .
As always Graham a great chat tonight. I didn't get to listen to it all live, but I picked up,what I missed on the replay. You speak from your heart so eloquently. It is joyful and inspirational to listen to you. In the years that I have been following you, you have given me cause to look more deeply into myself, I took some leaks of faith that made me feel so much better about myself. Enjoy the event that you are participating in tomorrow. I'm sure that Tyrone, and all all of your other friends are so glad to see you. You look so well,so relaxed and happy. Blessings!! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Always nice to chat with you on a Friday night. Perfect set-up for the weekend! We can chew on what you talked about and implement what resonates with us in our own lives. Thank you for continually stoking our fires. 🔥 ❤️🔥
I had poor cell service on the coast. I just finished the replay. This was one of your best chats so far. I appreciate that you focused on Substack and not IG/FB. I hope the THC community continues to grow. Thanks for your weekly commitment to communicating with all of us! 😎
Graham, an inspiring chat this evening, as you were sharing about taking those first steps, honoring yourself, trusting in your faith, I thought of the poem I recently wrote about divine/ God being the potter, we are the clay…following God’s guidance, surrendering to his plan. Some good thoughts for reflection this evening! Thanks and blessings!
Hearing you speak about and get excited about supporting this community in our creative endeavors is like a super sized B vitamin of energy for me. Thank you, Graham.
I was only able to pop into the live for a couple of minutes, but just listened to the replay. I resonated so much with what you were led to say about stepping into the opportunities we are given. I knew I could write, but being open to write and share from my heart about my life's journey and experiences was so scary in the beginning. But to step out and share myself has become rewarding in a way I never expected. Having someone say, "that story you shared is my story, too," keeps me fueled to continue to share from my heart into a world that needs to connect. Wonderful conversation, Graham. So sincere and honest. I look forward to future discussions about learning and growing and creating.
Graham sorry I missed the live. I loved what you shared about dealing with your classmate. I remember feeling that same way with a classmate. My husband and I went to an Estate sale not knowing who the house belonged to till we went to the garage. I looked and had to stand there looking at my classmate making sure it was her. I immediately. Froze all I could think about was how she treated me when we were in grade school. She came and hugged me. How could I not hug her back we chatted a few minutes and she told Dan and I her mom passed away. I stated how sorry I was for her loss. I told Dan how I disliked Jill that was her name. And he said see people can change when given the chance. I said yea I guess you’re right. That hug didn’t mean much at that time but after talking to Jill and leaving I did feel free and I let go of all those feelings. It does feel good to let go and be free. Now I’m still working on me every day. And I do believe you have to have respect for yourself in order to honor the one you gave you life and who walks with you every day even though you get busy and forget to say thank you. I thank God every day for what he has done for me and what he has given me. He leads the way every day even when we have no idea where we are going trust and he’ll lead you on the right path.
So nicely said Donna Morrison…always take the opportunity offered to you and go with it. Many thanks to you dear Graham, you are such a great helpful example of how to live one’s life ❣️🌹🔥ClaireGuertin
@Graham Wardle I like the chat tonight it was very interesting. You mentioned about coming out of your comfort zone. I am writing some articles on substack about my epilepsy in order to education and increase awareness of epilepsy. They are different aspects of it such as employment . I would like to put these articles into something that could be put together into something. Do you have any advice ?
Your encouragement, inspirations, belief in growing and stretching our abilities over the years has helped me immensely at my ripe ‘young’ age. 😉
About a year ago I was offered a role as a ‘fill in’ manager, Managing a share home for 2 adults with severe autism which can be quite challenging, but with prayer, support & Your constant positive words you give all of us across your platforms also echoed in my mind that I could do this!!! 🙏
I took on that work role with lots of responsibilities that pushed me way out of my comfort zone but mission accomplished. 🙏👍
I challenged myself, applied myself, learnt, grew and was proud of my little steps of doing something that I probably would have said no to because of self doubt or fear. 👊
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for leading us in absolute optimism for life & nudging us, though as we know can be hard! 💓
