After reading chapter eight and doing the tasks I see it as a call to action. I love Julia’s thought “creativity occurs in the moment, and in the moment we are timeless”. The chapter speaks to me in the excitement of progress, the power found in action and the adventure of the process. I was intrigued by the term scar tissue until I started writing in my MP and received clarity from the past. I can also now see synchronicities as helping hands and as an energy boost to my often morning pages ramblings. I look forward to chapter nine as each chapter is a gift. Thank you, Graham, this community and my awesome group. The journey continues.

Oh goodness this all resonates with me. I have a stubborn personality and always do things that other people say I can't. 😏 Not complaining in the least but part of my story is that when I was 18 I had to get brain surgery which caused my right side to be less mobile and my right arm/hand unable to work. Other people said I couldn't write anymore so I learned to write just as good with my left hand. People didn't think I could have kids with only one hand so I did have a son and nursed him for his first 16 months. “You won't drive, you’re done crossstitching/embroidery sewing, you can't…” I’ll show them! So many things that I won't bore you with but sometimes a stubborn personality is a good thing! This doesn't cause sadness but only pride every challenge that I conquer.

My eyes were drawn to the photo that read, "Follow, That Dream." Is Graham chasing his dream? He has overcome tremendous difficulties, worked hard, achieved success, and persevered. He has been active and dedicated to many areas, including Heartland, acting, THC, podcasts, poetry, marriage, the birth of his child, and film. Precious time has also changed his life. How will he move, change, and face challenges in the next five years? I am very interested. I am currently working on what I have always wanted to do, so I am striving and working hard to continue. Challenges are fun. I am truly grateful for you recommending Julia Cameron's book. This book says that even what we call hobbies can be an important means of living a creative life. It has been a test for me to cherish and nurture my own desires. Thank you.

How is your art progressing? Has this study helped your creativity or hindered it? Why?
