Chantalle Lapointe with your life You have inspired me I appreciate you bringing your poem to us . Graham only picks the best for our community Thanks Graham for picking the best again !!
Hello Graham, Thank you for sharing Chantelle's poem with us. I loved it very much! You always give us the best poems and poets. The answer to the question is I get my energy, strength and courage from my Savior Jesus Christ. Life is sorta like an octopus. You have all these people reaching out to you to do this or that. It is always something or someone wanting something from you! It can get frustrating at times. But I have Jesus in my life and so when I feel the octopus life reaching out it arms to pull me in all these different directions I turn to Jesus and say Lord help me and He does. It's amazing how he works in my life when I need Him. He is always there. He is the only One who can help me. He the one who sustains me in everything in my life. He helps me to step back and look at my life and then He helps me to move forward with whatever I need to do.
Thank you again Graham for sharing this lovely poem and poetry with me. I look forward to ever Tuesday to see what you have and it is always amazing and touching. I thank God for you every day for bringing you in my / our life. God bless you Graham. Love you bunches!! Sending prayers to you for protection, guidance, strength, courage, grace and mercy! 🙏😇🥰🤲🏻 Oh! Happy fall!!! 🍁
Thanks Graham for reminding me of how far I've come! I was the octopus! I clung to every one around me when my husband died, my son died and then my only sibling! I felt so alone, I kept looking for answers! Finally I asked God " why me" ? And I felt Him say " why Not you"? You are clinging to people for help, when are you going to let go and let Me be your provider? Since then I have been blessed! I'm now helping others find Jesus, love and hope again ! Peace ❤
Lucille, blessings be upon you for humility in admitting that. This poem resonated with me as I know people like this. Holy Spirit nudged me to look at myself. Oh so thankful for The Fathers love and grace upon us as we change from glory to glory. Blessed He is using you to help others!
Hi Graham Wardle. Beautiful text. To answer your question, I find energy, strength and courage in Christ. Only He who can sustain us, strengthen us to go forward. Big kiss. God bless you greatly.🥰♥️🇧🇷
I don’t like gossip and at times I feel the new platform is being used by the octopus. This poem was time appropriate, well written and powerful. Thank you for sharing. I’m disappointed it wasn’t one of Graham’s. With his schedule he is less involved than before, his leadership is missed.
Thank you Chantelle. Your poem is very timely for me. 90year old great grandmother being “encouraged “ to sell home and move in with grandson’s family. Been in house 65 years! It does feel like octopus eyes staring at me and limbs outstretched! Don’t know if I am being stubborn, melancholy, even selfish. My husband died 2015. One 62 yr old daughter lives with me…she still works. I binge watch Heartland!! I have read your poem 3times already. Thanks again.
Chantalle, I enjoyed your poem! It was lovely. I do think that life is like an octopus. Their are a lot of people out there reaching for your attention. I sometimes feel pulled in different directions. But my life is not tangled because I have Jesus Christ leading and guiding my life. He helps me to figure it all out. Thank you again for the poem it was lovely! God bless you!
I dont feel tangled up at all. I enjoy life and try to help others do the same. I would feel terrible if I thought I was the cause of anyone else’s entanglement. I can understand how others could feel this way, especially famous people or people in power positions. I wish everyone all the best in their lives today and every day.
First of all, conrgats and thanks to Graham for continuing to expand his knowledge and heart with more and more folks. Your five stop tour with the other two men and now you are co-hosting a workshop about Mathamagic. Wow! I'm so proud of you and glad to be "with you" through Heartland, podcasts, newsletters, substack, and now the wonderful Time Has Come platform.
Thanks also to Chantalle for sharing with us today.
Hello Chantelle! I liked your poem. I could go a dozen different directions with this. Examples from when I was younger but now I am old. I still help lots of people through my prayers and by encouraging them to think decisions through carefully before jumping in. But they call me. I don't call them. They could be the tentacles. If I let them. But I just continue forward taking good care of me then I help them if I feel called to. So I think I already lived through the Octopus stage of my life. A sense of humor was definitely a life saver. But in situations involving little children, you have to just do your best to bring them along as they grow up. When a child is born from you, there will be tentacles attached to you. You cannot run from that, although many do . You will want to be there for them when they need you. I never thought of motherhood in a resentful way. I resented other adults that drained me unnecessarily. But I just endured it draining my body of lots of vitality far too soon. Maybe someday you can write a poem that will provide a solution to that problem for future women.
Graham as incredible as it may seem, I know and live with someone like that, with the energy of the Octopus... Unfortunately this tangle of arms and suction cups, trap me and suffocate me...
I know he's here, but how to repress him?
How to get rid of these powerful Tentacles, with enough force to suffocate me, leave me trapped as if I'm in a spider's web, with no space to move and free myself... It's all mixed up, business, work, money, life for two, children... etc.
After I met you, and started listening to what you preach, I achieved great changes in my life, great victories. Today I can say that I have some members freed, I can partially move. I'll stay with you and I'm sure I'll free myself from the Octopus's Tentacles!!! I won't be able to be with you next weekend, it's my father's birthday, and we're going to the farm to celebrate... I wish you luck and success in your retreat with Lynette...
Thank you Chantalle, you are very kind, I learned that sharing our thoughts, can bring great learning, like now that I met you and loved your poetry... Sometimes I dare to write some small poems... Nothing great, just to express my love to the world. Goodnight. Sending Love.

I totally agree the new platform is not my cup of tea. I miss the old way he was involved with us.

You go Barbara! If you move in with your Grandson, where will your daughter go? I pray for you to make the right decision for you.

Thank you Marsha for your thoughtful feedback. I think writing a poem along those lines is an excellent idea❤️
Thanks! I'm always trying to grow my talent for writing poems. Your input is much appreciated.

I listened to this again today. Even more beautiful the second time through. 🤩
Sometime if you do that sort of thing, I'd like you to read my poem.
