Graham and Joseph Hello

From my heart to your heart.

What a beautiful poem! True, that touches the bottom of our heart...

We are beings guided by love, by the light of the soul. In every moment of our lives, we are loving...

There are several forms of love, which are revealed through, gestures, smiles, caresses, and even by a look.

I wrote this poem, which I'm uploading right below, a few months ago...

Graham, congratulations on the choice of Poet and Poem... You always bring us the best...

"The Love...

Boundless love...

Love that crosses borders...

Love for someone...

Loyal Love.

Love allows us to see, with the eyes of the heart, what is written in our soul, reads between the lines of our being and deciphers the most secret desire of our body... Penetrating look, goosebumps on the skin, wet lips, racing heart, are singns that love has arrived... No matter where or when, it only matters to live this love".

Beautiful poem Joseph! It is very realistic. Life is a series of ups and downs. I’ve learned that I must be open to whatever life throws at me. I also must accept each experience good or bad. Going through most any trial or challenge, I usually never know what the lesson learned is until afterwards when I gain perspective. I sincerely try and not ask β€œwhy” I’m going through this, but instead, ask β€œwhat am I to learn from this?” in order to use that experience to encourage or help someone. Thank you Graham and Joseph.

Thank you Joseph and Graham for this poem. It brought me to tears and memories of a time when our oldest son turned to alcohol, binge drinking and serious health implications. All that time I hid in the facade of healthy, happy, perfect family in the community, knowing I could not control or fix the problem. My heart was breaking while enabling out of love. Through a miracle and prayer my son woke up one day and said no more. Those years of heartache taught me a lot about love, control, flowing through pain, illusions vs reality, life lessons that I never expected in my β€œperfect” world. My son grew into an amazing man with a wonderful family and an abounding love for and faith in God. We have a closeness that I never thought possible. Blessings abound. Thank you Joseph for your thoughtful poem and inspiration. Graham thank you for bringing us along on your journey.

This is an encouraging story for me as I am in the middle of raising 4 teenagers. Thank you for sharing. I have been learning so much about surrendering and letting go of my expectations and hopes and dreams for my kids and trusting that God's purposes for them are far greater and I can trust that he will lead them through whatever challenges they are facing.

Thank you Vanessa. Your beautiful belief of trusting God’s purpose is so important. It is amazing to watch children grow and as they become adults they will say to you β€œalways my Mother, forever my friend”. I wish you joy, blessings and peace as you and your children continue on your journey.

Agreed. Wow thank you to both of you. Being a parent and getting to the place of surrender for our kids is hard. It seems to be so much easier to rescue them and spoil them but in the end is not good. My biggest prayer now is they will come to rely fully on the Lord themselves and not just rely on my prayers and love and what I tell them.

Much love to you both Linda and Vaneesa

Joseph, thank you for sharing your beautiful poem and sharing your story. During my life there have been those ups and downs, when I wasn't fully open to listen and surrender. One of the most challenging times was after the sudden passing of my husband, I wasn't open to anything, I couldn't see my purpose anymore, I was angry at God for 2 years. During those 2 years I wasn't happy, just lived making it through the day, finally my heart and mind couldn't take it and I had an emotional melt down at a women's retreat. I began my journey back to trusting. It's been a process, to learn to let go of what I can't control, trust that God has it covered, focus on what I can control, each little step my faith has grown. I've also learned that sometimes when I'm not listening the signs get louder and louder until I do listen for the guidance. The past few months I have come to find a new journey..writing poems. Maybe this is what God has guiding me to find....something I never thought I would do. I now trust that God has a plan for me, I can't see the whole plan but am trusting it will be shown to me.

Graham, thank you for inviting Joseph to share his inspiring poem and his story with us today.

Thank you Joseph and Graham for this profound poem and time of sharing from your heart. I sensed the Divine inspiration in all of your words so powerfully as it spoke directly to my spirit and was recieved with grace and peace. Your words spoke directly to what I am experiencing in life now and though the concepts of surrender and trust in moments of suffering are not new, your words felt like a soothing balm over my heart and spirit, as if to say, "you're on the right path and you're not alone". I have struggled a lot with loneliness and not feeling understood so to hear someone else speak words that my spirit speaks was a beautiful gift. I'm grateful that I have found this space and want to thank you for your words of truth and light and for living in such a way that enables you to speak from this space of Divine love.

What I find in life that is graciously given to me is the savior actually gave up His life so I could have mine. Life is abundant if I look for it.

"Love knows that pain only hurts

if you don't see the purpose,

that discomfort is simply our

lies clashing with the truth,

and that on the other side

of every difficult thing

we experience

is something so beautiful and profound

that if we could only see it now,

we'd embrace the pain with gratitude

and laugh at the thought

that we ever tried to hide."

Such powerful words full of truth.

Thank you Joseph

It really helps to see how my dysfunctions come into play... when I do not want to embrace those difficult situations and see what is really there to shape me. How willing am I?

It is about trusting

Pure trust of God's love for me and knowing all things will work together for good, and it may not be my own good but perhaps for the good of so many more and even into the distant future.

So often my lies clash with truth. But to live only in truth,

And bask in it.

Sometimes it is painful

But understanding that His love knows no depths or heights, it is infinite and then I can soar and it doesnt matter the pain.

Perhaps my purpose is just knowing His love, how high, deep and wide , it has no end...and in KNOWING it then I can freely give it.

Ah the old song

What the world needs now

is love sweet love

To know it.

Thank you Graham for your guest.

Shine on and grow in love.

Sorry I missed your IG.

Graham, I am so pleased to hear that your health problem has been dealt with and such a positive out-come. Always listen to your body.

My thanks to both you and Joseph for your stirring and inspirational words. They send me to a place of deep serenity which I so need right now.

Your poetry gave me the impetus to write again.

Time

Time is an illusion, so very fleeting

When you are young it is almost tangible

Days are always forever

As one ages time begins to fly by

If only we could slow the passing

Monday becomes Friday

Where did the time go

My journey cannot end soon

I still have much to do

I feel my angel surrounding me

I am reassured

This is something I heard recently. It is better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction.

Love to all

Hello everyone,

I don't know if God had a purpose or a miracle for me but he gave me some sorrow. After the disappearance of my father, 40 years later it is the disappearance of my son. The only thing I can say is that this suffering allowed me to be better and more tolerant.

My line of conduct allows me to fight against intolerance, and all that this implies, to help others and to accept what God gives me or does not give me.

Catherine,

So sorry to hear about your son.

Much love to you. May the Lord watch over your son. May He comfort you with joy and peace unexplainable. May great things come from these. Peace be still. May His blessings abound.
