Graham and Julien, thank you so much for this wonderful podcast. It resonated deeply with me on many levels... as a musician, on a spiritual level, your presence in Alberta's stunning nature... I help me ponder the deep gratitude for the life I have lived thus far with many musical and spiritual blessings. Graham, you described your desire to be a drummer and a trumpeter ... and I was blessed to be both. Julien, I had a good laugh when you said "don't date a drummer". I both dated and married a drummer and have 51 years of wonderful blessings and have no regrets! One of the challenges for me back in the day as a professional drummer / percussionist / timpanist, and a small stature female, was skepticism I faced at times that I could be strong enough for the physicality required. I still remember like it was yesterday, being called out in a rehearsal in front of the Victoria Symphony by our guest conductor, Arthur Fiedler of Boston Pops fame, demanding to know whether I was up to the task of playing large orchestral cymbals ... Inside I was embarrassed and wanted to crawl out of the unwanted spotlight. But I managed a confident retort ... "if its not loud enough just let me know." I let my God given talent speak for itself and learned how to push through when others would doubt or criticize.
I appreciated your open sharing of your spirituality Julien and your focus on love.
Question I would appreciate being asked in the after party:
-- Julien, please share more about your connection with the "face of the I Am".
Again, my gratitude and appreciation to you both and to Tyrone, for this awesome podcast. So looking forward to hearing more at the After Party.
This is one of the best podcasts yet! Thank you for inviting Julien to share his wisdom with all of us. I need to listen again to hear those wise nuggets and actually apply them to my life right now.
Dia, I believed that it is one of the best Podcast, yet too. I felt that Graham was outstanding and very impressive. Graham is always outstanding and impressive but this particular Podcast, I felt a universal rhythm that he and Julien connected and that energy illuminated into the audiences. Thank you. with love. Gloria
Graham this was such a fantastic podcast. Julien is such a grounded, driven, well spoken young man. What a great story he tells of how his life evolved and how he ended up doing what he is doing now. Not only is he a good musician, but also the work he does as a social worker seems too be very comforting for him. He knew what he wanted to do, and he took all the steps and the work it took to get there. Love that he also is a very spiritual person. Graham, there are a lot of similarities between you and Julien. If I am ever lucky enough to get to Calgary again and I hope I will, I will certainly be searching out that drum circle. Beautiful soothing music he plays. It leaves me wanting more. Great job that you and Tyrone did with the opening of this podcast, it was beautiful scenery. Thank you, Graham, for all your hard work and dedication to the podcast, and everything else that you do!!! ☺️🙏🏻❤️🙌
Julien is a breath of fresh air and a beautiful soul! Thank you, Graham, for introducing us to him and for this inspirational podcast. Well done Graham and Julien. 👏👏
I wanted to say also that I loved listening to Julien, he is so kind and wisdom is out pouring through his head and heart. I know the two of you could tell us much more and would love to listen to more from both of you. God bless Graham, God is truly working through you! You are so blessed and sharing with us is a gift I look forward to hearing more podcast. 🙏❤️
