My apologies to those waiting on TimeHasCome.com to watch the live-stream of the Zoom call. I had a technical glitch that prevented the video feed from being sent to Substack and therefore I wasn’t able to share the live presentation with you all. Please enjoy the replay.
We have now completed the twelve-week journey with The Artist’s Way, and I felt it would be beneficial to come together once again to move through a guided meditation on our journey and progress.
For those who haven’t yet finished The Artist’s Way and are completing it in your own time, you are more than welcome to join or watch the replay when the time is right for you.
My intention with this guided meditation is to create a relaxed state of being and review our main themes from the book so we can integrate our growth and insights deeper into ourselves. In closing, we will then envision our lives 90 days from now as we continue to nurture and foster our Artist and creative selves.
Preparation
Invest 15 minutes before you start the meditation to review your answers in your workbook. No need to memorize it or study it. Simply review and feel the journey. See what you wrote in your morning pages at the beginning and see what you last wrote. See if you can feel any subtle shifts.
Prepare a comfortable space to participate in the 30-minute meditation. I recommend having a place you can lie down or put your feet up. The aim is to relax the body without falling asleep. If possible, don’t eat a large meal directly beforehand and make sure you don’t need to go to the bathroom. We want to drift into the in-between space where you aren’t fully awake and you’re not fully asleep and not be interrupted. This is where the analytical part of your brain is quiet and you are open and receptive to your guidance and insights.
Bring your notepad or journal. After you finish the meditation, you will have 15 minutes to write and review anything that came up during the meditation.
